The coaching cycle

Pre-Meeting

In this meeting, we will plan for an upcoming meeting. After goal setting and practice, you’ll leave with a clear idea of what you want to accomplish and how to do it.

The Meeting

During the IEP meeting, you’ll put your plan into action.

Debrief and Reflect

After the meeting, you’ll reflect on what happened, what you accomplished, and set next steps.

Rinse and Repeat

In between meetings, you may review progress reports or data from the school, evaluation reports, or accommodation information. Then, when it’s time for your next meeting, it’s back to planning again!
